Multimedia Center

Spruce up your classroom presentations with all the latest technology available in the library’s multimedia center. Here, you can expand your skills and options for creating assignments with a multimedia flare or just experiment with new technologies! Impress your instructors with unique and creative presentations and feel personally rewarded for developing new skills! We have Kindles, iPod Touches, and video cameras just to name a few of the items available to you for check-out.  Read an Ebook on the Kindle! Edit a movie! Scan and create QR codes! Produce a sound recording! Borrow a camera!

Come on by CG-300 and visit the Library Media Center where creativity is encouraged!

Edible Book Festival Returns – 4/2/2012

For the third year, the Edible Book Festival is being held at Annandale Campus Library. This tasty  event on April 2, 2012 from Noon to 1:30 is a celebration of our two favorite things:  food and books.  To become a contestant and create an edible entry inspired by a book: send your name and contact info to pderoy@nvcc.edu by March 26, 2012.  Then bring your edible book to CG300 by 10 a.m. on April 2.  Prizes will be awarded.  Everyone is invited to view the entries and then consume them at the Festival from Noon to 1:30 in CG300.  Checkout previous entries on our Pinterest board  @  http://pinterest.com/novaanlibrary/edible-book-festivals-nvcc/
