Welcome to our new Blog!

In case you haven’t heard, NOVA has an Office of Global Studies and Programs and we are doing some pretty interesting things around the world on behalf of NOVA.

Did you know that NOVA …

  • students represent 180 nationalities?
  • maintains @ 2,000 international (F-1) student visas each year?
  • hosts groups of international visitors on a regular basis?
  • faculty led 2 study abroad trips this past summer to Ghana and Fiji?

We are currently in the midst of expanding our NOVA web presence and hope to have our new website launched later this fall. This new and improved website will provide specific information for students and faculty on ways you can become more involved with NOVA’s international activities both on and off campus. We plan to use this blog as a way to update the NOVA community about international scholarships and awards, study abroad opportunities and our expanding relationships with international institutions around the world among other things.

Please stay tuned and join in the discussion.
