Faculty Encourages Student Photography Award Finalist

Christina Dodson, a student from the Loudoun Campus, was encouraged by her adjunct professor Amanda Sauer to submit her photograph to Photographer’s Forum Magazine’s 2012 Best of College and High School Photography Contest. As a result of this encouragement, Dodson submitted her photo and was awarded a finalist in the competition.

“I encourage my students to participate in as many photo opportunities as possible,” said Sauer. “It’s a competitive field and building a resume is important.”

“I felt privileged that Professor Sauer considered my work worthy enough to be submitted to a contest,” said Dodson. “It is good to know that my hard work has paid off.”
