Alexandria Welcomes Dr. Marius Ratolojanahry

The Honorable Marius Ratolojanahry, former Minister of Agriculture of the Malagasy Republic, has joined the faculty of the Alexandria Campus as an adjunct professor of political science. Ratolojanahary served his country in several cabinet-level posts and was on a diplomatic mission to the United States in March of 2009 when the military staged the coup which overthrew the democratically elected government. He has not been able to return to his home in Madagascar. He is teaching a course titled “The Politics of Modern Africa.” The course will be offered in subsequent semesters as well.
