In October, the Woodbridge Campus hosted the Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation (NVCCEF) annual 5K run to raise money for scholarships. The event was expanded this year to include a health and wellness expo that allowed local business partners to have a bigger role in the annual event and promote living in the community. [...]

On October 17, the Manassas Campus Administration of Justice Club held a Law Enforcement Career Day on the Howsmon Hall patio. Several regional agencies, including Fairfax County Police, Metro Transit Police, Supreme Court of the United States Police, Virginia State Police and a local fire department, sent recruiters to discuss career opportunities with NOVA students.

The Alexandria Achieving the Dream (ATD) Team hosted an ATD Faculty Spotlight session on November 8.
