Alexandria Campus Library Extended Hours During Exams

Once again, the Alexandria Campus Library offered students extra time to prepare for finals by opening early at 8:00 a.m. and closing late at 11:00 p.m. during the last week of classes and exam week.

For the first time, Learning and Technology Resources partnered with the Student Government Association (SGA) to host “Exam Cram” during which SGA provided snacks and hosted study groups with tutors.

Library extended hours are made possible by dedicated library staff voluntarily adjusting their schedules to come in early and stay late. Student volunteers setting up and clearing away food and scheduling study sessions made “Exam Cram” possible. The Library has been offering extended hours in support of student success since 2005.

  1. It’s great that this AL Campus Library tradition continues and that the SGA supported it!
