Hypothesis Testing is on Trial

Hypothesis Testing is the culmination of an introductory statistics class.  Yet practitioners are seriously questioning its use.  Science News called it “science’s dirtiest secret.” P-values are abused in order to get published in scientific journals.  The American Statistical Association issued a statement this year with issues and advice.
