Virtual Information Sessions

Are you a future freshman, admitted freshman, or transfer student? GMU’S Admissions is ready to answer your questions. University Admissions has coordinated a series of virtual information sessions, hosted in real-time by Mason admissions counselors.

Please check the calendar for dates and times of sessions and to register. Upon registering, you will be emailed the webinar access link, and we ask that you retain this link for your records.

Registration is required for all Admissions Virtual Information Sessions.

Questions About Transferring?

The Office of Transfer Services is here to assist you. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Office of Admissions has transitioned to virtual operations.

Virtual appointments to meet with our staff via videoconference or phone are available on a limited basis. Please visit to sign up for a virtual appointment.

Appointments will be made available on a weekly basis, so please check back in if you do not see a time slot that works for you.

Our monthly newsletter brings announcements directly to you in both areas of transfer and career. Utilizing transfer and career resources will help maximize your time and skills at NVCC. Lunch & Learn with UVA’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies

Please join us on Thursday, July 16th from 12:00PM – 1:00PM for a Faculty & Staff Lunch & Learn with Dr. Stephen Levine, Senior Director, Degree Programs, Kathryn Buzzoni, Program Director, Academic Partnerships & Pre-Admission Advising along with our Community College Outreach Specialists to learn advising strategies for both the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies and Bachelor of Health Management Professional degree completion programs. Both programs make it possible for working adult students to complete a liberal arts degree from the University of Virginia on a part time basis through evening and synchronous online classes. Join the School of Professional Studies Wednesday, May 20th from 4:00pm-5:00pm for our virtual Transfer Information Session. We will provide an overview of our evening/weekend degree programs, transferring credits, the admissions process, and more.
