Workshop: Assistive Technologies Across the Curriculum: Guiding Students with Accommodations Towards Success
April 6, 2017 2:00-3:00pm (Location: AA 158)

At this workshop, you will learn the skills and know-how to work with students who use assistive technology and other accommodations. Additionally, teaching faculty will share experiences working with students with accommodations and the Office of Disability Services to provide an optimal learning environment.

During this webinar, you will learn how to make your digital course content created with Microsoft Office, Adobe PDFs, and Blackboard accessible to all students.

Fall 2015 Academic Success Conference!

Hope you are able to join us this week for our first Academic Success Conference!  Funded by Student Life and Powered by the Collaboration of Learning Technology Resources, this 3-day conference will allow you to:

  • Meet Fellow NOVA Students
  •  Meet your Partners in Success
  • Explore NOVA Alexandria
  • Find beneficial resources

There are a number of workshops offered throughout the day accross the campus.  None will exceed 30 minutes.  For every workshop attended, you will get a chance to win prizes (book scholarships, books, and an iPad!)

Come learn about resources for faculty available on campus, hear about the most recent research on student success and engagement, and join us for some hands-on sessions with topics including tools for student collaboration, software for creating dynamic lectures, Blackboard tools, cloud storage, and a special workshop presented by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL). Lunch will be provided, and you can register to win a fabulous door prize!

NOVA LTR Cross Campus Day 2013Attention: Our office will be closed all day on Friday, May 31st, 2013 for the Learning and Technology Resources (LTR) Cross-Campus Day. We’ll be getting together with the other LTR units from all the NOVA campuses to coordinate our efforts in bringing you the very best of services!

Our regular office hours (M-F 8am to 5pm) will resume on Monday, June 3rd.
