On January 12th, 39 adjuncts joined us for Adjunct Professional Development Day. We began the day with keynote speaker, Jim Egenrieder. Jim is a Google Certified educator, an adjunct instructor, and most recently a STEM Education Coordinator for NOVA and the arlington Public Schools. Jim share with the audience Google Tools for the classroom. Adjuncts were then invited to sessions on Tools You Can Use, Library Services, Interactive Short Throws and SMART Boards, Blackboard review, iPad in the Classroom, Student Response Systems, and CETL resources. We closed the day with raffle prizes and lunch.
