Please see this note below from Kimberly Nicely at the MEC. This is a significant alteration to the pre-admission coursework. Please direct students to the website so they can comprehend both the coursework needed and the testing (TEAS). This link to the brochure should be very helpful!

As you can see with the new pre-admission courses, students could complete those in one semester!
This is the note from Kimberly Nicely:
My staff and I meet with the new Associate Dean of Nursing, Dr. Laura Dickson, on Friday, November 30th. Dr. Dickson shared with us that NOVA’s Nursing program was not in lined with the other VCCS schools and the adjustments to our program needed to be made immediately. The information you see on the Nursing website is official. Students interested in applying to NOVA’s Nursing program, beginning Spring 2019 will only need BIO 141, PSY 230, ENG 111, SDV 100/101, and a 3 credit elective. According to Dr. Dickson, Nursing will have a Fall (2019) and Spring (2020) start this year.
