The Importance of Being Earnest – Spring 2020

Our spring play will be the classic Oscar Wilde comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest.

Auditions will be March 2-3 from 4-6pm in CC 115. First read-through will be March 4, and rehearsals will begin March 16 when we return from Spring Break. Performances will run April 23-26.

I’m looking for at least 3 men, 3 women, and 3 actors of any gender. I’m open to double-casting certain roles, so we can use up to 14 actors.

Auditions for THE GOOD DOCTOR

Our spring show will be Neil Simon’s THE GOOD DOCTOR. It’s a comedy based on the writings of Anton Chekhov. The play consists of 9 vignettes, all set in Russia. We’re looking for up to 9 men and 9 women. We will probably do some flexible casting – actors may share roles and perform different roles on different performances.

Rehearsals will begin March 18 and are Monday-Thursday from 4pm-6:30pm. Performances will be April 25-28 – Thursday and Sunday at 2pm / Friday and Saturday at 7pm.

The role of The Writer (Narrator) has already been cast. All other roles are available.

OPEN AUDITIONS will be held in CC 115 on March 4 & 5 from 4pm-6pm. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the play. See you then!
