Barbie and Ken are having the time of their lives in the colorful and seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land. However, when they get a chance to go to the real world, they soon discover the joys and perils of living amongst humans.

STUDENT AMBASSADOR

Student Ambassadors are a select group of students chosen through an application and interview process. They serve as role models to the student body and assist the Office of Student Life in the planning and implementation of campus programs.  The Office of Student Life seeks students from diverse backgrounds who are enthusiastic and who demonstrate exceptional communication and leadership potential.

Student Ambassadors partake in various events and activities.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist and participate in Student Life events
• Participate in special events as needed
• Conducting group or individualized campus tours
• Staff information tables at resource fairs
• Provide students with information regarding NOVA co-curricular programs.
• Serve as encouraging role models and advocates of higher education.

Interested in working on campus as part of the Student Life team Have fun, make new connections, strengthen social skills, and grow with it! Successful applicants will have 2.5 or better GPA, completed at least 1  semester, and plan to take classes next year.

Qualifications Required:

• Be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester while employed
• Have a 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher
• Have a good work ethic and attitude
• The desire to serve as a role model for students.
• Commitment of two (2) semesters (fall & spring)
