Haaaappy Black History Month!

We had an absolute blast at our event yesterday, giving out soul food, and general knowledge about African American trailblazers in history!

We aim to make every student at NOVA feel welcome and included. And as this month comes to a close, please remember the importance of respecting others, every month, year round.

In honor of the rich Black History that built this country, we asked students to write what Black History Month meant to them individually.

From the pioneers who paved the way to the trailblazers shaping our future. We invite you to try the cultural delicacy and recognize the Black excellence!

Love is in the air, Happy Valentine’s Day Nighthawks!

Yesterday we hosted our Valentine’s Day event where we handed out carnations , chocolate , and stuffed animals , as well as has stations to let students make cards! Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to come by.

We hope today everyone has the opportunity to spend time with their loved ones, platonic and romantic .

And remember, the Office of Student Life loves you, our NOVA family!

Club leaders (President, Vice-president, Secretary and Treasurer) must attend an in-person or virtual session training session and successfully pass a quiz in order to be in compliance with Annandale Student Life policies.

Officer training compliance is required for each academic year. In other words, you must complete the mandatory training once a year, as it is only valid for one academic year.
