Bio: Diana is a former NOVA employee from the Loudoun Campus who served as the Administrative Specialist to the Dean of Students and then as an Academic Advisor and Psychology and SDV instructor. Diana has also worked at George Mason University as the Student Success Advisor for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences where she coordinated major support programs and events and taught a variety of undergraduate psychology courses. More recently, she worked in the corporate world as a Professional Learning Coordinator.
Outside work, Diana enjoys spending time with her two young sons, husband, and her two furry pets Coco a one-year old tea-cup yorkie, and her cat Jasper.

Bio: Hello! My name is Dr. Lauren Kaplan. I am the Student Life Advisor in the Student Life Department on the Annandale Campus. I am originally from Orlando, Florida, and moved to Fairfax, VA, in the Fall of 2021.
I was the Assistant Director for Student Involvement for Student Government and Student Funding Board in the Office of Student Involvement at George Mason University.
Prior, for ten years, I was the Student Development Program Advisor at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida.
I hold an M.Ed. in College Student Affairs in Higher Education from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Recently, I completed an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership in Higher Education from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
I enjoy family, friends, travel, museums, farmers’ markets, historical places, plays, and movies.
I am delighted to be here at Northern Virginia Community College.
Together, we will continue making the NOVA Annandale Campus the best place to be….
