Meet our new NOVA students participating in the Community College Initiative Program, CCI. On Thursday, August 9^th , 38 new NOVA students toured the Annandale campus with the help of Student Life ambassadors. CCI students met the provost Dr. Mucci, visited various buildings across campus, library, testing center,  and many other great places around. Despite heavy rains during the tour, Student Life ambassador, Marvel Igbokwe maintains a happy attitude while walking with CCI students at the library.

On 7/16/24 NOVA at the Annandale campus  held a new student orientation session. We at student life were involved by showing how fun our office and gave some swag away ( Shirts, Water Bottles and more). Once the session had started our amazing ambassadors Marvel Igbokwe and Benjamin Chinery  went on stage and  apart of the Q&A panel and were inspiring. They did a great job with connecting with the new students and answering questions beautifully.

On June 27th, 2024,  the Annandale campus held an orientation event for students starting this coming fall semester. After the introductory presentation was given, an orientation panel was held, featuring several members of Annandale campus’ staff and faculty, including Sebastian Campos, a Student Life Ambassador, and Aaron Kobayashi, a Student Nova Corps Intern.

After the panel which included questions by starting Nova students in the audience, a campus tour was lead by staff from Student Life, introducing new students and their families to the Annandale Campus.

It was a fantastic opportunity getting to know the incoming students at Nova’s Annandale campus and we look forward introducing more new students to the amenities that Nova has to offer.

We all had a great time at the spring semester end of year, featuring Chick-Fil-A catering, excellently encapsulating the vibrance and spirit of Student Life. In further appreciation of their hard work and dedication to Nova Student Life over the past year, student ambassadors were presented with gift cards and plaques. With this exciting semester culminating in this outstanding celebration, we’re looking forward to the summer and fall semester, and hope to see you soon!
