What makes an effective thesis statement?  A strong thesis statement is the heart of your essay, yet students often struggle to write thesis statements. This workshop will cover how to write a clear, specific thesis statement and how to structure your paper to support the thesis statement.  We’ll also review sample thesis statements for different kinds of essays.

Presented by consultants from the Writing Assistance Center. The Brown Bag Workshop Series covers a different topic every Wednesday at 12:00 PM.
