Fall/Spring text to copy:

Comprehensive academic support is available to all enrolled NOVA students (with NOVA ID card) at the Academic Success Center (ASC). ASC offers one-on-one tutoring appointments in many subjects, walk-in tutoring for MTH courses and writing, and a variety of workshops to guide NOVA students toward more efficient and effective academic study skills and strategies. Professional staff provide free and confidential academic coaching in areas such as time/project management, academic reading, exam preparation, note-taking skills, and other learning strategies. You are encouraged to stop by to use the FREE services, study space, computer lab, and more.

ASC’s Writing Center provides qualified consultants and tutors who work with you to develop effective reading, writing, and critical thinking strategies. Writing consultants and tutors can help you plan your writing project, structure your essay, prepare an outline, revise your writing, learn how to proofread and edit (they cannot do this for you), clarify your paper ideas, format papers and citations properly, and/or discuss literature and poetry. Even if you’re a confident writer, they can offer you helpful feedback.
