Student Success Conference

SEPTEMBER 15 – 17, 2020

Each Fall semester, the Alexandria Campus hosts a Student Success event dedicated to students’ academic success and exploration of NOVA services. This event offers students the opportunity to connect with campus and college resources, faculty and staff, fellow NOVA students and an opportunity to get engaged in our college community. Participating in the conference activities will help you feel better connected to NOVA and the support services.

Throughout the three days of the conference, presenters will explore topics related to student’s development, goal setting, and course/degree completion. Topics covered typically include study skills, library skills, academic advising, financial aid, student organizations, building community, recreation and nutrition, career services, student life, safety and others.

The Student Success Conference is open to ALL NOVA students. Students are encouraged to attend one or more sessions during the week. Every session attended helps students get one step closer to achieving their educational goals. During each session, students will also be entered into a raffle for some great prizes!
