The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and those of other countries. Fulbrighters address critical global issues in all disciplines, while forging lasting connections, and building relationships, knowledge, and leadership in support of the long-term interests of the United States. 

Application Deadline: September 15, 2020

  • 11 NOVA faculty and administrators across the College have gone on a Fulbright since 2010/11
  • NOVA has been named a top producing community college of Fulbright Scholar Awards in 6 of last 8 years 
  • The Fulbright Scholar Program offers nearly 480 teaching, research or teaching/research awards in over 125 countries.
