These classes are part of a preparedness skill set that we all should have. Simple techniques that can be used to save the life of a family-member, a friend, or a colleague here at work. Adult, child, and infant CPR skills are part of the curriculum, along with practical evolution’s to test your new skills. Automated External Defibrillator use is also included in the training, so that you can become proficient in the use of these medical devices located at the college.

Stop the Bleed training introduces you to the skills needed to handle a trauma incident where someone is possibly bleeding to death. You will learn the techniques to control the bleed using direct pressure, wound packing and tourniquets.

You will be provided a CPR pocket mask, and a tourniquet for your personal use after completing the classes!
Both of these classes are free to College Employees, and are taught at our Manassas Battleview II training location at 10366 Battleview Drive, Manassas, VA 20109. Future classes will be announced in the Daily Flyer, and by email. The March and April classes are already booked and full, but be on the look-out for the announcement for the May 2020 class!
