NOVA Cyber Student Presents on Continuity of Operations for the Home

NOVA Cybersecurity Student James Kelly presented on Continuity of Operations for the Home on March 26 as part of the Keeping Cyber Awake series with NOVA SySTEMic and partners. James is a cybersecurity student, Industrial Control Systems (ICS) maintenance professional and works on emergency response teams. As a NOVA ISACA Student Group (NOVAISG) vice president, he leads technical learning sessions for ISG members on topics such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN and debugging software. 

James’ presentation touched on various approaches to working from home, with safety and security in mind, such as updating routers, workstations, mobile devices and having a backup plan that all family members agree on.
