City of Manassas Announces New Partnership with NOVA

The City of Manassas is dedicating $400,000 to expanding its long-standing partnerships with SkillSource and Northern Virginia Community College. The funds will directly help residents who have been furloughed or are unemployed as a result of the pandemic.

Select NOVA Workforce course offerings are available to eligible participants, including courses in allied health, IT, ESL and other professional education options.

Program participants will have access to tuition-free job training through NOVA Workforce and access to the following suite of services:

• Paid Work Experiences
• Career Coaching
• Financial Coaching and Workshops
• Online Job Fairs
• Virtual Training
• Transportation
• Work Attire and Uniforms
• Work Tools
