Alexandria Provost Named a Finalist for Presidency of Harford CC

It is with mixed emotions that I share the news that Alexandria Provost Dr. Annette Haggray has been named a finalist for the presidency at Harford Community College in Bel Air, Md.  You may recall that she previously served as vice president for academic affairs at Harford for seven years before coming to NOVA. 

Dr. Haggray’s leadership of the Alexandria Campus over the past four years has been exemplary and is one of the reasons she was recruited by the Harford search committee. While the announcement of her finalist status is bittersweet for all of us at NOVA, it is well-deserved recognition of a career filled with accomplishments and dedication to the community college mission and to our students.

Harford anticipates the new president will be named in October and will begin in January 2021. I will keep you posted on any developments in the search. Thank you for your patience through this process, and we wish Dr. Haggray all the best as she continues in this search.
