NOVA SySTEMic to Host Free Virtual Teacher Professional Development Workshop
Starting Oct. 26, Northern Virginia Community College’s STEM outreach program, NOVA SySTEMic, will be hosting virtual STEM teacher professional development sessions for educators in our region. Virtual STEM Teacher PD will allow elementary, middle and high school teachers to enroll in weekly sessions at no cost in the Northern Virginia region.
Offerings include a four-part series in Micro:bit for educators, Cybersecurity and Python with VEX VR, along with individual sessions covering fabrication topics utilizing Inkscape, TinkerCAD and Easel software. Registration is now open! Spaces are limited.
