Rise Up! Student Speaks on American Dream, Myths of Immigration
Student Life is excited to announce that we are closing out our first season of Rise Up speeches. Student Life has been working to empower student leaders in sharing their stories and messages on leadership. We often hear about people coming to the United States to pursue their dreams. In this Rise Up speech, Adriana Arroyo delves into some of the myths about immigration through the lens of the novel “American Dirt” by Jeanine Cummins. [Content Warning: Graphic images].
