Hey, Punkin! DHRM Sponsors Pumpkin Decorating Contest!

We are excited to bring another event to your attention created by the Office of Workforce Engagement’s Anywhere Activities Team at DHRM. This time, there is a bit more competition involved. Individuals or groups can decorate a pumpkin (or other gourd) and submit a picture to CommonHealth via wellness@dhrm.virginia.gov. The rules and timeline are available here for your reference and to share:

• You can cut, carve or paint your pumpkin, or glue/paste items on your pumpkin; the only rule is that you use a pumpkin or gourd (either real or fake).
• Pumpkins must be tastefully decorated, non-offensive and workplace appropriate.
• Email a photo of your pumpkin to wellness@dhrm.virginia.gov between now and Oct. 26. In your email message, include the name of your creation (if it has one) and the name of the creator(s). Entries accepted via email only and no entries will be considered after Oct. 26, 2020.
• One entry per person/group (maximum group total is 3 members).
• Pictures of entries will be judged between Oct. 27 and Oct. 29, and winners will be announced on Oct. 30. The top three winners will be notified and will receive a bag of CommonHealth goodies.

We hope this will bring out a sense of friendly competition as employees from each agency show us their creativity. Feel free to share by posting pictures on social media. But remember, to be entered into the contest and to be part of the judging, the picture must be sent to the Wellness email box.
