Microsoft 365 Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Is Here!
A few weeks ago, ITSS began notifying the NOVA community that we are deploying Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to help protect your online identity. Please register your two-step verification method now if you have not already taken a moment to do it.
Effective Monday, October 26, 2020, Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) will be required to access Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Outlook, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online).
Register for MFA Here, and follow the steps detailed in the MFA Quick Reference Guide.
Complete the registration process using your existing NVCC credentials (username and password) that you use to login today.
When you register, you will add a safe and secure two-step verification method (a phone call or mobile app notification) to access your Microsoft 365 applications.
If you use your iPad or an iPhone to access nvcc.edu email you will need to switch to the Outlook app from the Apple store as the native IOS mail client is not compatible with modern authentication used for MFA connections to Microsoft 365.
