OEWW Welcomes You Back to a New Semester

August 22, 2023 / Get Well

Welcome to a new semester! The Office of Employee Wellness and Wellbeing (OEWW) is here to help.

Welcome to a new semester! The students are ready to get going again, and our fall to-do lists have been activated. I look forward to continuing to work with such a great group of professionals who show up ready to serve and guide each student on their path to wholeness, academic success and prosperity. Our purposeful work enhances their roles as contributing members of our community. We make an impact.

As we begin this season of growth and renewal, I encourage you to carve out time to revisit your goals: register for a professional learning experience, invest in your health and wellbeing, strengthen relationships with colleagues, freshen up your workspace or even just make time for a daily walk outdoors. Though we are collectively working so hard to deliver a robust slate of courses, programs and services, we can’t pour from an empty cup. As we begin this academic season, please find ways to meet your needs, take care of yourself, and encourage colleagues and students to do the same.

The Community in Community College indicates that we don’t have to do this alone. The Office of Employee Wellness and Wellbeing is excited to continue efforts to address the full range of wellness needs for each member of this caring community. Let us know how to help.

Your Office of Employee Wellness and Wellbeing (OEWW) is collecting information to curate resources and to guide the planning of customized events, wellness opportunities and wellbeing offerings.
