Mental Health Provider Database Vendor Fair, Begins Today at LO
The month of April highlights multiple national wellness and mental health awareness campaigns. This April, we will recognize:
- National Stress Awareness Month
- National Minority Health Month
- Alcohol Awareness Month
- National Autism Awareness Month
- Sexual Assault Awareness Month
- National Counseling Awareness Month
NOVA’s Office of Wellness and Mental Health has a Mental Health Provider Database of more than 200 licensed wellness and mental health professionals — and we’re bringing them to YOU! We are excited to host vendors from our database on each campus throughout the month of April on various dates. This event will:
- Highlight accessible care for all budgets with a diverse selection of community wellness and mental health providers.
- Provide resources and information on local licensed therapists and wellness professionals.
- Reduce stigma surrounding mental health through education and open dialogue.
- Promote self-care practices and strategies for maintaining mental wellbeing.
- Encourage early intervention for physical and mental health concerns.
If you have any questions, please email wellness@nvcc.edu
