Inaugural Collegewide PTK Induction Ceremony, Tonight at 7

April 19, 2024 / Our Nighthawks

This evening, April 19, NOVA’s six Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society chapters will come together for an inaugural collegewide induction ceremony. Historically, each chapter has hosted one or two induction ceremonies per academic year, depending on need. This spring, however, the chapters have come together to host a joint celebration. At this evening’s ceremony, more than 220 NOVA students across the College’s six chapters will be inducted into PTK, and officers for several chapters will be installed for the upcoming academic year.

Students who have served on the PTK Induction Planning Committee have managed the entirety of the ceremony, from the order of events to the invitations and event program. The event will both honor each chapter individually and celebrate the achievements of our students as #oneNOVA. The following students have served on the Planning Committee, and we are grateful for their leadership and service!

  • Tiernan Caulfield, Alpha Zeta Rho (Loudoun)
  • Monica Fergerson, Alpha Beta Rho (Annandale)
  • Hailey Park, Alpha Beta Rho (Annandale)
  • Rhonda Parnell, Alpha Beta Rho (Annandale)
  • Angel Pino, Alpha Delta Tau (Woodbridge)
  • Javier Sagastume, Alpha Zeta Rho (Loudoun)

All are welcome to join us at the collegewide PTK induction ceremony, which will be hosted in the Richard J. Ernst Community Cultural Center on the Annandale Campus at 7 p.m. tonight, April 19.
