Get Your Gradebook Summer Ready: Two Workshops Today, 9:30 and 10

Feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of grading? Breathe easy! We’re offering a power-up workshop series today at 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m., to help you master Canvas’s Speedgrader and Gradebook. These innovative tools can revolutionize your grading workflow, saving you precious time.

Speedgrader is a great tool for giving your students feedback on assignments and discussions. In the Speedgrader session, you’ll learn how to navigate in Speedgrader and use the tool’s feedback and commenting features. You’ll see the different annotation tools in the Doc Viewer and view feedback from a student’s perspective.

In addition to an overview of the Gradebook dashboard, the Gradebook session will address how the Assignments Index is directly related to the Gradebook. Learn about the different options for viewing the Gradebook, the Missing/Late grading policy and Grade Posting policy, and options for filtering the Gradebook data. We’ll also view the Gradebook from a student’s perspective.
