NOVA All Access: Additional Details for Faculty

September 6, 2024 / General NOVA News

Sent on behalf of NOVA Auxiliary Services and Barnes & Noble:

Thank you for your patience as the College and Barnes & Noble continue to work through implementation of the NOVA All Access program.

The implementation team has experienced several hiccups with publisher integrations into Canvas.

Depending on the publisher and format of the materials, there are different delivery processes for students to access their materials and connect them to their courses.

For physical materials, students should have received an email from the bookstore confirming (1) the materials for each of their courses and (2) their preferred delivery method for any printed/physical materials (either in-store pickup or direct shipment to their home). If they have not done so already, students must complete the steps to confirm their fulfillment preference so the bookstore can prepare their materials.

For electronic materials, there are three different access methods:

  1. eBook or courseware integration: To access, select the “Course Materials” link in Canvas.
  2. Access code reveal: First select “Course Materials” to reveal the access code, then enter/redeem the code at the link on that page or within the publisher’s integration link in Canvas.
  3. Publisher Direct: Select the publisher’s link in Canvas.

Below you will find several Barnes & Noble links with more details and contact information:

Further information is also available on the NOVA All Access website, www.nvcc.edu/novaallaccess.
