Boost Your Online Teaching Skills This Fall

September 18, 2024 / Tech Notes & Training

Looking to enhance student interaction and make your online teaching even more effective? Join us this fall for two workshops focused on fostering meaningful interaction through online discussions and thoughtful feedback. These skills are not only essential for student success, but they also align with the U.S. Department of Education’s new regulations on substantive interaction for distance education. Here is the schedule:

  • Effectively Facilitating Online Discussions, October 14 – 20
  • Providing Quality Feedback for Online Learners, October 21 – 27

Both workshops are focused on practical strategies you can start using right away. While they are tailored for those teaching asynchronous online courses, they are also useful for educators teaching hybrid courses or remote synchronous courses. Additionally, with the workshops delivered asynchronously via Canvas, you will have the flexibility to learn at your own pace, anytime and anywhere within the workshop dates.
