Each semester, NOVA Online partners with fantastic faculty across NOVA’s campuses to bring you the Best Practice Webinar Series. This series showcases innovative and effective teaching strategies for hybrid and online courses.

Kicking off the fall semester, we warmly welcome Dr. Carolyn Hurley, a professor of communication at NOVA’s Loudoun Campus. Dr. Hurley will present, “Cultivating Connection: Strategies for Engaged and Inclusive Learning,” on Friday, September 27, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. With over two decades of teaching experience across various course modalities, she will share practical strategies to enhance student engagement and foster connections with course content, peers and the real world beyond the classroom.
