Regional College Hunger Conference to Come to Annandale Campus, Oct. 18

The Capital Area Food Bank will hold its annual Regional College Hunger Conference at the Annandale Campus (Ernst Center) on Friday, October 18, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

During this conference, representatives from higher education institutions within the region will come together to discuss strategies to address food insecurity among college students. The topics this year will include best practices for food pantries; marketing basic needs programs; data usage for anti-hunger programming; and student perspectives on food insecurity. If you are interested in attending the conference, there are a few spots left.
