Coming Soon to the NOVA Services Portal: NOVA Online Teaching MOU

December 10, 2024 / Faculty/Staff Highlights

The NOVA Online Faculty Services Unit is excited to move the Memorandum of Understanding for Faculty Teaching NOVA Online Courses to TeamDynamix. Our Asynchronous Online Teaching MOU, newly relocated to the NOVA Services Portal as NOL Asynchronous Online Teaching MOU (105-412), is a great reminder of what to expect when teaching a NOVA Online class. The new web-based form will be available through the Service Catalog in the NOVA Services Portal on December 13.

NOVA Online continuously strives to enhance the experience for both students and faculty, which is why the MOU is regularly updated with best practices inspired by global leaders in online instruction like Quality Matters as well as our own teaching faculty. With our new system, renewing and acknowledging the MOU is easy and a great way to continue growing in the evolving environment of online teaching. NOVA Online is dedicated to empowering both students and faculty by embracing the power of online education.

We expect faculty to review and acknowledge this communication tool annually, which outlines best practices and expectations for delivering NOVA Online courses. For more information for teaching NOVA Online Courses, please visit NOVA Online.
