NOVA grad presents photographic exhibit at Manassas Campus, March 26
The Manassas Campus invites you to Silent Storm (Analog Images Rooted in Nature), a photographic exhibit by Olivia Wiese, a proud NOVA alumna. This exhibition is being held on the Manassas Campus (Colgan Hall) from March 4 to April 1. Ms. Wiese, a NOVA photography & digital media graduate, has reimagined a walk through a forest and a stroll through an Italian olive grove. Her unique images represent a roll of 120mm film exposed in multiple overlapping frames during a long walk in nature as a study in visual rhythm and the relationship between static and moving images, as well as between nature and the self. This project began in Washington D.C. in 2022 and continued during an artist residency in Montegiovi, Italy in 2023.
Join us on Wednesday, March 26 at 4:30 p.m. to hear Ms. Wiese discuss her work and her process.
