TAKE CHINESE Online with Dr. Tan from Northern Virginia Community College!
Sign up for 2022 Fall Synchronous Virtual and Online Chinese Courses (Virginia Residents over 60 can take our courses free of charge). Come and Join Us this Fall to:
- Meet People Who Are Interested in Learning Other Languages and Cultures.
- Cultivate a Deeper Understanding of Chinese Language and Traditions.
- Be Able to Speak Mandarin with 1,117 million Mandarin Speakers, Of Course, One at a Time.

Beginning Chinese I CHI 101-040A (62135) for four credits
4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday and Wednesday for 13 weeks.
Beginning Chinese II CHI 102-040A (62136) for four credits
12:45 pm to 2:45 pm Monday and Wednesday for 13 weeks.
The first class meeting will be on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022 for the above two courses and the session will end on Dec. 13, 2022.

Beginning Chinese I CHI 101- E60A (61758) for four credits
Beginning Chinese II CHI 102- E60A (62136) for four credits
Intermediate Chinese I CHI 201- E60A (61761) for four credits
Intermediate Chinese II CHI 202- E60A (61763) for four credits
All Our NOVA Online Courses will have a one-hour synchronous online meeting per week during the weekly evening hours.
All six Chinese courses will end on Dec. 13, 2022.
