Feeling stressed? Overwhelmed with juggling college, parenting, and employment?
If you answered yes, you’re not alone!!! According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, approximately 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. experiences mental illness in a given year, and about half of community college students surveyed reported mental health problems.
The good news is there are lots of free and low-cost mental wellness supports in our community. Check out the list below to find the help you need, or advocate for a friend or family member you feel could use the support.
Making a call or sending an email is the first step to feeling better. You cannot take care of others if you do not care for yourself first!
