NOVA receives Department of State Grant to offer Study Abroad courses in Brazil!

This award granted by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs will allow NOVA to increase its study abroad capacity by establishing a program in an institutionally strategic part of the world in the hopes of attracting a broad interest among both students and faculty.

NOVA has chosen to develop this program in collaboration with the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goias (IFG) in Brazil and will focus on creating two pilot programs in Environmental Studies and Portuguese language.  Both study abroad courses will be offered during the Spring 2014 and 2015 semesters with travel to Brazil taking place at the end of the semester.

Be on the lookout for more details on how to register for these courses in the coming year!
