Spray Technician

Responsibilities:

*Apply pesticides and fertilizers throughout our 200 acre property. This includes areas of high maintenance turf (golf course greens, tees and fairways) as well as to numerous ornamental plants.

*Calibrate and maintain sprayer and fertilizer equipment.

*Organize and keep clean pesticide storage area.

The successful applicant must be able to obtain a Virginia pesticide license or a registered technician’s license (we will train and pay all fees related). The spray technician will also aid in many golf course and landscaping related tasks especially during the off-season when fewer applications are made.

BENEFITS: This is a FULL-TIME position but this can be a part-time job for the right candidate

*30K-40K depending on experience – hourly rate with overtime also available if not FULL TIME

NOTES:

International Country Club in Fairfax, VA is seeking employees interested in working outside with plants. We are willing to train even if you have no prior experience – we will happily teach a candidate who is enthusiastic about learning and doing a good job.

While this is a full-time job with benefits we can make this a seasonal job for the right candidate. The work day starts early (6:00 am most days in-season) so we are a great place for students to work and still make it to class later in the day.
