Enrollment must be with an accredited educational institution. This includes colleges and universities. Graduating seniors from college or graduate school who are not continuing their education will not be considered.
Duties
Horticultural Aide: The Aide provides support and assistance with caring for plants and gardens. The position also includes assisting United States Botanic Garden or Capitol Grounds and Arboretum employees in the art of managing and cultivating flowers and gardening. These duties can be performed indoors or outdoors. May pick up trash or debris from surrounding building and garden areas. May assist Gardeners with growing and tending to lawns, flowers, shrubs and trees, such as mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, fertilizing plants, flowers, shrubs and trees.
