Part Time Gardener- Alexandria VA
Local Homeowner is looking for a gardener to help maintain their gardens in Alexandria VA
The property is close to the Braddock Rd and King St metros, the bus running between GMU and King St metro, and the NOVA Alexandria Campus. The garden consists of perennial beds, a dry creek bed, a rain garden, and raised vegetable beds, with a focus on native species.
The scope of work includes cataloguing, transplanting, weeding, digging, thinning, clean up, planning for next year, and other general maintenance tasks.
The homeowner is looking for about 4 to 5 hours per week of help in the garden for the month of October. With fewer available hours in November and December. They are willing to accommodate the student’s school and other scheduling needs.
Pay will be $25-30/hour and will be paid by check or bank deposit.
