Ideal candidates possess stellar communication skills, adept at gauging the needs of our diverse clientele. While demonstrated houseplant knowledge is a must, a passion for learning and sharing is also essential.
Responsibilities include managing opening and closing procedures, engaging customers with infectious positivity, and handling transactions seamlessly. Become the go-to resource for plant care tips and recommendations, transforming inquiries into opportunities to nurture our growing community.
Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing procedures.
- Greet customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, manner.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with customers using our POS system.
- Scan items, ensure prices and quantities are accurate, and collect payments.
- Bag items securely and upsell our services.
- Engage customers on a myriad of plant topics including identification and basic care of houseplants
- Basic upkeep of work area, sales floor, and other areas as assigned.
- Cleaning, watering, pruning and general upkeep of houseplants and their displays.
