Pramoedya Ananta Toer Website Project Launched

Loudoun History Professors Charlie Evans and Bill Pierce completed a project focused on the work of Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The project publishes the background materials that will make Toer’s works accessible for students enrolled in NOVA’s western and world history survey courses and world literature courses. The project was funded by the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) through its professional development grants.

Much of the project content was provided by Pierce, while Evans focused his work on the website structure, images and supporting links. The site will allow students to more deeply understand the decolonization process in Indonesia through the writings of Pramoedya Ananta Toer (1925-2006).
