Faculty Enjoy Technology Education for Classroom and Hybrid Instruction

November 30 was a first of what Technology Applications Center (TAC) and Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) hope to be many seminars for exploring classroom and hybrid technology education. Forty-five faculty gathered at the Annandale Campus to explore MERLOT (MERLOT.org, a free and open online community of learning resources) and Adobe Acrobat, and learn how to give PowerPoint slides an extreme makeover. Expert presentations were made by Laura Franklin, Cheri Spiegel and Adobe.

The Technology Education for Classroom and Hybrid Instruction (TECHI) seminar was sponsored by CETL and TAC. Look on the TAC and CETL websites for spring TECHI offerings.
