Rolando Garcia is the new dean of Learning and Technology Resources for the Woodbridge Campus. Garcia is from Miami, Florida, and during the last decade he served Miami Dade College in various roles as a computer courtyard director, technology trainer/instructional designer and community education program coordinator. Garcia stayed connected to the classroom by serving Miami Dade College as an adjunct faculty member in the areas of business, computer information systems and education.
He received a bachelor’s degree in psychobiology from the University of Miami and completed a master’s degree in management information systems at Florida International University. In May 2012, he will complete his doctorate in higher education at Florida International University.
