Eight students from T.C. Williams High School, accompanied by an instructor and librarian, visited the Alexandria Campus Library on October 9. The students were engaged in advanced, independent-study science research. Librarians Anne Anderson and Matt Todd welcomed the high school visitors on behalf of Learning Technology Resources, and introduced them to the campus library’s collections, policies, procedures and services. Students spent some time doing individual research on their topics with help from their librarian hosts. This visit is part of the Library’s high school outreach efforts and collaboration between NOVA library staff and local high school media specialists.
