The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced the new plan limits for the 403-b and 457 defined contribution plans for the tax year 2013. Effective January 1, 2013, the annual general limit for both plans has increased from $17,000 to $17,500. The age 50 and over annual catch up option remains at $22,500.
